According to early December data, the production schedule for PV film is expected to decrease by 3.7% MoM, with the decline intensifying. This was mainly due to production cuts in PV modules in December, leading to reduced film orders. Although the number of module orders was relatively high at the end of November, actual module production and projected production schedule decreased by 11% MoM. Currently, PV film manufacturers are experiencing a continuous decline in order volumes compared to the beginning of the month.
Last week, the price of EVA transparent film ranged from 12,400 to 13,000 yuan/mt, EPE co-extruded film was priced at 14,900 to 15,500 yuan/mt, and POE film ranged from 18,000 to 19,000 yuan/mt, with overall film prices remaining stable. Since August, the price of PV-grade EVA has risen by 13.7%, while the increase in PV transparent film prices was only 3.8%. The PV film market is facing significant pressure. With the continuous rise in raw material EVA prices, the raw material cost of film inventory has been increasing, and short-term film prices are expected to rise slightly.
